Bobby Berriault, Legal Advocate

Bobby Berriault is a 31-year-old New Britain, CT resident. Bobby has received his Law Degree from Western New England University in 2018 as well as his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Central Connecticut State University in 2014. He has also received his Associate Degree in Liberal Arts and Science from Asnuntuck Community College in 2011 as well as a Paralegal Certificate from the University of Connecticut in 2014. Bobby is currently enrolled as a law school student at the University of Connecticut School of Law where he hopes to earn his L.L.M. in Human Rights and Social Justice.

Bobby started as an intern at CLRP in October 2018. He has since advanced to the position as legal advocate. He is in the process of taking the Connecticut Bar Exam, and he hopes to be admitted to the Connecticut Bar soon with the goal of spending his entire legal career advocating for the legal rights of people who are amongst the most vulnerable in our society. As someone who grew up in poverty,  including five foster homes and two group homes, and as a person with Asperger Syndrome and Depression, Bobby understands the needs of his clients on a personal level, and he wants to do all that he can do to help others be successful in their lives like he has been helped.

In addition to work, Bobby is active in his community. He is involved with helping to organize charity events and community outreach events through his work as a Commissioner with the City of New Britain Commission on Persons with Disabilities. Bobby is also a Notary Public and a Justice of the Peace.

Bobby is very passionate about legal advocacy and has been since he was very young. Bobby is very dedicated to public service and he seeks to make his community and the world a better place for all.
